Bodenham Parish Council Notice

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN UPDATE (28 MAY 2018)

The Neighbourhood Development Plan has now been modified in accordance with the recommendations made by the Examiner and the final version of the Plan, on which the Referendum will be conducted, has been produced. You can find it here or you can see it, together with all its related documents, on the Parish Website at http://www.bodenhamparish.org.uk/evidencebase.asp. It will also be on the Herefordshire Council website at https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/directory_record/3031/bodenham_neighbourhood_development_plan very shortly.

The Referendum will be held on 12 July and everybody on the electoral roll in Bodenham Parish will be entitled to vote. The Referendum will be organised by Herefordshire Council and their Electoral Services will shortly be sending out the necessary information and voting papers.

The decision on 12 July on whether or not the Plan should be adopted will be a very important one. It will affect everyone in the Parish, whether directly in terms of how housing growth is managed or indirectly through the pressures future development, if not sustainably organised, may have on our local roads, GP surgery, school, sewerage system, and so on.

This will be YOUR chance to influence the future development of our neighbourhood, so please put the date of the Referendum in your diary and take the time to cast your vote when the time comes!

Best wishes

Tony
