As part of the River Wye and Lugg Natural Flood Management (NFM) Project (https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/nfm) river and rainfall monitoring stations have been installed in each of the seven NFM catchment areas. For the Bodenham area the rain gauge is at Pencombe.

Data collected from these monitoring stations will help us better understand how the rivers respond to rainfall events and how we can use NFM measures to reduce the flood risk. As this is a community focused project, data collected from these monitoring stations is publicly available on the TimeView website (see details below).

If you would like to learn more about our river and rainfall monitoring programme, including an interactive training session on how to use the TimeView website, then please come along to our river and rainfall monitoring community training session on Wednesday 13th November, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Leominster Library, 8 Buttercross, Leominster, HR6 8BN.
